Lucy Bazinet and
Draco and Romeo Dowdell were united in marriage in a triple collar
ceremony on February 14, 2003.
The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bazinet of New Hampshire. The
grooms are the sons of Rebecca and Daryl Dowdell of Utah.
Music for the ceremony
was provided by the melodious voices of Joe and Butch Karp Bazinet
and Brian Bazinet accompanied on guitar. All are brothers
of the bride.
The bride, given
in marriage by her parents, wore an Aloha collar with a lovely silver
filigree heart, a gift from the grooms.
The maid of honor
was Emma Bazinet; the attendant was Wayne DuPage Isabell, both sisters
of the bride.
Daryl Dowdell served
as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Wayne DuPage Charley
and Hobohaven's Trouble with Harry, brothers of the bride.
In
lieu of children, the parties will continue their important work.
The bride is a princess at Hobohaven and teaches retired working
dogs how to play and how to love unconditionally. The grooms, Ph.D.'s
in Canine Socialization, have positions with Utah Vizsla Rescue.
They have dedicated their lives to helping dogs less fortunate by
teaching how to play, how to snuggle on the couch, and how
to properly stand in line and eat from their own bowls. Most
importantly, they teach how to trust and share their love with humans.
